what is good soil or compost to use for wisteria plants and leptospermum (tea-tree)?
i bought some seeds to plant and make bonsai trees out of.
what soil should i plant them in?
May I suggest you not attempt to make wisteria into a bonsai. Wisteria is almost impossible to keep in bounds when it grows so fast you can’t keep it trimmed back. It is not adapted for making bonsai. I would try a slower-growing plant, (not a vine). When you are able to germinate seed of a selected plant to use for bonasi, do not put rich soil in the container. A bonsai plant doesn’t need much soil, just moisture to make it continue to thrive. You need to add rock to the bonsai soil to acclimate it to grow very slowly.
