Question re Planting our vegetable garden?

We have had Tomatoes in the same spot in our garden for the past several years.
This year we are doing something very different and have the tomatoe plants in the up side down containers.

Are there any vegetables that should not be planted where the tomatoes have been???

Also any one had exoperince with planting the following ;Oriental Greens; Chinese Cabbage;Pak Choi; Chinese Radishes???
They all looked so good in the vessey’s seed cateloque and we would like to try some this time round.

We live in Ontario and so far the ground has been almost too cool for planting.
However we are starting tomorrow barring no rain.

Would appreciate any and all replies to my questions.
Thanks Shirl
You mentioned watching for insects re some of the veggies. What do you recommend to use if we find some of these??
Thanks Shirl

All the plants you asked about are great cool weather vegetables and would do well in the spot you had your tomatoes in. The only things that should not be planted in that spot are things that are in the tomato family; like: potatoes, eggplant, and peppers. All else should be fair game. I have planted cabbage, pak choi, radishes and various greens and the main problem I have had with these are insects. You need to check your plants often for pest damage and be vigilant with your pest management. Good luck.
