A Cookie Dough Fundraiser: A Delicious Part Of A Healthy Fundraiser

Whenever groups dig through catalogs for fundraising providers they may be facing a hard decision. Which will make them the most money for a manageable level of effort? Look carefully at having a cookie dough fundraiser. They are one of the most popular solutions across North America for many reasons.

To begin with, companies are showing sensitivity to families who examine ingredients on packages. Many list 100% natural ingredients with no artificial colors. Others also point out that only non-hydrogenated margarine is used in their dough.

Peanut allergies are a prevalent and deadly issue. Allergic people can suffer a significant reaction from the tiniest exposure. Have a look at firms who produce products in peanut-free work places. These won’t sell cookie flavors requiring peanuts or peanut butter, however other types of nuts may be featured.

For example, macadamia and white chocolate offers a rich and exotic twist to the normal chocolate chip cookie. Other familiar types include oatmeal and ginger snaps. If you want to be healthy, there is a granola variety too. This one fills your kids with seeds and dehydrated fruit.

Should it thaw along the way, not a problem: the contents can be re-frozen and used again without diminishing the taste. Tubs will still specify a best before date, especially important if buyers only refrigerate and not freezing their tubs.

One really useful aspect of frozen dough is that consumers can bake as many or as few cookies at one time as required, then put away remaining dough for another time. From the tub one simply takes a spoonful. Then again, providers are now selling pre-portioned cookies, again for baking as many as are needed at any one time. Fresh cookies every time: your children will love you for helping them to raise money for school equipment and for the wonderful cookies they get at snack time.
