Is it okay to sprout seeds in glasses of water and indoors ?
I was thinking I could do that and then plant them outside at the end of next month…does this work for every type of flower? What about vegstables?
The Flower seeds for my garden are: California Poppies ,Columbines ,Monardas , Lupines , Baby’s Breath , Rose Barlow (Columbine) , Hollyhock (Fordhook) , “Wildflowers Humming Bird & Butterfly Mixture” , “Cottage Garden Mix” , “Perennial Mix” , Alyssum , Sweet Peas , Bachelor Buttons , Zinnias , Cosmos & Morning Glories.
The Flowers seeds for my nieces garden are: Oriental Poppies ,Columbines , Echinaceas , Monardas , Hollyhocks , & “Coastal Wildflowers Mix”.
We will be sharing : Strawberry vines , Cantaloupe , Cilantro/Coriander , Serrano Chillis , and lots of Tomatos and Corn.
So are all of these okay to start inside in glasses of water?
I’m new to gardening and landscaping lol…..
Please && Thank You!!
I like to start seeds in some kind of medium, like wet cotton wool on a tray, for the roots to form in, if I am just rooting a cutting I do it in water. Your garden sounds like it will be awesome.
