can you tell me what i found?
this is a hand held rattle or shaker made of some kind of wood or giant seed. It has a very detailed moon face carved into the top of it with the botton carved flat to stand on its own. I hve pictures could anyone id it? Found in Sonoma County, Ca. my e-mail; mitchdriller@yahoo.com. it is very very old

I can only suggest a dried gourd, but that probably isn’t it. Or is it. Cultures *have* used those.
