Too many sesame seeds?
I’ve recently grown fond of eating raw black sesame seeds out of hand. I’ve eaten up to 6 oz a day and enjoy them very much.
From about 3-4 oz, I can recieve my daily amount of calcium content (not to mention magnesium and iron). However, the amount of fat per oz is 14g. I don’t fear plant-derived fats (vegetable oils, nuts, avocadoes, etc.), but should I not be eating so many of these things? I haven’t felt any ill effects such as stomachaches.
They look highly nutritional, my only concern is the high Omega 6 in the oil (and that’s not really a bad thing) There is a need to balance your Omega 6 with Omega 3 & with a Omega 6 level of 30,776 mg in 5 oz. I would suggest you balance with a minimum of 6,500 mg of Omega 3 (fish oil, ground flax seeds, chia seeds)
