Eventually, when the money runs out, you learn to be good with it. You will need that for a rainy day. Try and avoid initial debt to improve your chances of success. What are the options, other than an office? Is the new office furniture necessary?

Researching the available services is time well spent. Your business and lifestyle can work well together. Ok maybe not from a sandy beach on the other side of the world. Lifestyle is the goal, keep the debt low.

I am not saying we head for the airport? Knowing what choices you can make gives you more options. Lets examine the day to day office routine. How much do you spend on petrol, coffee, drinks and parking.

Then there is the trip home. After a busy day perhaps a few drinks after work with your colleagues. Of course too many drinks means a taxi home. Hopefully you avoided a parking fine.

The little changes can have massive rewards. More funds helps in leaner times and pays for a holiday.

The technology exists so you can maintain and enhance your corporate identity. It helps your work life balance. Choosing when to work is your choice.

I asked for views on this from colleagues. What, no thrils, some are set in their ways.

The business grew and we made the right choices when it came to services and applications. Our learning curve was steep. Outsourcing your telephone answering saves a fortune on a full time resource. Tell them about your business and they will wave your flag. They can manage your diary and make calls on your behalf like making appointments, etc. Fax to email saves you buying a fax. Some good  recruitment software online is imperative. IP phones allow you to keep the same number and use it anywhere. Even when we had an office, we liked to get away from it and interview our candidates in a comfy coffee shop nearby. Interview via Skype and you don’t have to move anywhere. Desks by the hour are available.

Remember, a new recruitment business is an investment. Work smart and reap the rewards.
