How can I tell what color my lupine will be?

My lupin bud has sprouted and is getting tall . On all the pics on the web you can almost tell what color it will be when you look at the bottom of the bud. I cant see any color ? Is it going to be white//? When I purchased it it said Russell Lupine mix . Does that mean that it will have different colors on it or that there will be several lupines with different solid colors?

you can only tell what color it will be when it comes to fruition. a mix means that it could me any color.
