When one of Celie’s step-children looks at the hole in Harpo’s roof and says “…it’s gonna RAIN on your HEAD…”… lol

My favorite scene is when Shug is singing at the Juke Joint and her daughter is singing at the church and they hear each other and connect with one another through ‘God Is Trying To Tell You Something’ which also serves as a moral to her father, the preacher, who finally forgives his daughter. The whole scene is just so emotional.
