How To Choose Your Sunglasses This Summer
With designer fashion and global warming all around us, having a good pair of sunglasses is a must have for both. A good pair of sunglasses will complete your outfit and they can also cover up the damage that the previous night did to your eyes. As for the global warming side of matters, as the Earths temperature is getting hotter, your eyes are constantly in need of protection from damaging UV rays.
So now after justifying the reasons for buying new sunglasses, you now have to make the tricky decision to decide which pair would best suite you. Now that’s the difficult part.
Just like when you have to choose normal eye glasses, the decision starts with the shape of your face. The majority of people come under 2 different face shapes, round and oval. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for oval shape faces, this is where the your face is longer than is it wider.
Once you have figured out which shape face you have, you can then choose a shape for your sunglasses. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. If you do have a more rounded face then you are limited slightly because some designer companies don’t make rectangle or square glasses.
If you have more of an oval shaped face, you can get away with pretty much wearing anything you want. You are not limited at all, you will be able to get away with wearing big or small and curved or square, anything should look good.Police sunglasses or possibly a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.
There are a couple of other face shapes that you may fit into if you don’t see yourself as an oval or a circle. If you believe that you have a heart shaped face then you would be best suited to the thin rimmed aviation styled sunglasses. Finally, if you have a more square shaped face, then you don’t want to add more angles so a pair of curved sunglasses would be best.
Hopefully this guide will help you next time you go to buy your sunglasses. Just remember, despite paying alot of money for the sunglasses, it doesn’t mean that they give enough protection for your eyes. Make sure that the glasses come with a sticker on them stating how well they are protecting your eyes.
