Would putting a vitamin in a ziplock bag help germinate a seed faster?

I’m trying to grow some tomatoes and peppers in a ziplock baggy, with a damp paper towel. I was wondering if putting multivitamin/minerals in the baggy would help the seeds grow longer in the baggy. Any other tips to doing this would be appreciated.

Sounds like a good science fair project. Plants that dislike being moved or repotted do benefit from vitamin B1.
