Palm Springs Power Outage Takes Down City’s 911 System
A power outage in Palm Springs temporarily disabled the city’s 911 emergency system Monday, police said. Palm Springs police Officer Rhonda Long said she did not know how long the system was down, but it was back on line at 9:22 a.m. Police sent out an advisory to media outlets at 8 a.m. that the emergency number was not working.
