can you get high off of poppy seeds?

my bro tells me that since they make heroin out of poppy seeds that if you eat enough of them then you can fail a drug test. Does this mean that you can get high off of them?

If you eat enough of them, you CAN fail a drug test.

However, NOTHING but poppyseed oil is made out of poppy seeds. Heroin comes from opium, which comes from the latex of the plant. It is technically possible to get “high” off of them, but you would need to consume enough to make you sick for it get any buzz effect. Don’t bother.
