Fresh Cut Flowers Are Always Special!

In ancient times fresh cut flowers were used by women as ornaments. They used them in garlands for beautification. Fresh cut flowers are beautiful to see and equally easy to maintain. It is always pleasant to see beautiful blooms at your home. Many options are available for decorating your house. Out of the countless varieties available some common ones to decorate your house with can be Daffodils, Roses, Lilies, Sunflower, Tulips and Zinnia. But again it is very depressing to see your favorite blossoms die in front of your eyes. So you need to take good care of them. There is nothing to worry about. It is very easy to preserve fresh cut flowers.
For preserving your blossoms you can simply follow a few rules. Always ensure that you get them early in the morning. The morning dew leaves them fresh. Have a nice, big vase to keep them, this way they get enough space to grow. Have your flowers nicely trimmed. To preserve them longer use 2 ounces of mouthwash solution to each gallon of water you will use in your vase. Don’t make the stems too short. Make them 1-2 inches short from the stem at a 45 degree angle. Don’t keep them near ripe fruits or direct sunlight. Ripe fruits release chemicals that wither them faster. Try to move them to a cooler place at night.
Keep your blossoms in fresh water. Certain home made tips like mixing citrus soda and water in a 50-50 ratio and using it in the vase you plan to put your flowers are very helpful. Remember to do this everyday for keeping you flowers fresh.
