Are the seeds in bell peppers poisonous? :/?

i know this is a silly question but i cant get it off my mind! :/
someone i know severed the bell pepper seeds in her curry and after her guests ate it most of the people got sick.was it the seeds or is she a bad cook?
i seached on google and some people said they are poisonous, some people said they are just bitter……….so whats the answer?

Hey Lauren shhhhh…..Aoife, that someone you know is a bad cook. They are not poisonous, bitter maybe, I don’t use them in cooking, but I do use them in the composter. I’m into that these days, the composter, it’s amazing how much less is going out in the garbage on garbage night.
