They can be bought or made into a perfect gift for anyone on your list. The more creative and decorative you get, the better the basket will turn out. Find out how to make some fun and creative gift baskets.
The first gift basket idea is to fill it with a variety of salami! There are many different kinds including Calabrese, Milano, Sopressata, Genova and pepperoni. These traditional meats will be a perfect gift for your friends and family who love to cook! Try to include some easy pasta recipes that use any one of these salamis. You are giving them the recipes to follow and the ingredients to cook with. A perfect gift wrapped into 1!
Try this idea. Create a gift basket with ingredients to make an authentic Italian meal! Here’s a sure-fire checklist: Genova salami, Rotola, pasta, marinara, breadsticks and a variety of cheese. If your gift recipient is in a pinch, this “survival kit” has the ingredients to create a complete Italian meal. If the recipient likes to cook, try to include some pasta recipes!
If your friend or family member likes to keep it simple, stock an appetizer gift basket! Antipasto is an authentic Italian appetizer meant to prepare you for the main course.
