Tips For Tanning And Spray Tan
We use tan or tanning as we want to have a nice brown and healthy skin, spray tan is one of the way for that.
Most of the spray tan tips revolve around the preparatory stages for the tanning session, meaning exfoliation most of the time. However, while this part is important too, plenty of spray tan tips should advise one for the after treatment. Here are a few suggestions that may help you get a tan that will withstand for more than a week.
Exfoliation with a scrub is a necessity in order to eliminate the dead skin cells and leave the skin smooth for tan application. According to spray tan tips, you have to insist with the scrub on the knees and elbows because these are the body areas that stain most easily. Do not apply any hydrating lotion on the body post exfoliation because some of the oils prevent the tanning reaction and your skin will not turn brown.
Then, remove all jewels before entering the tanning booth, because some of them could get stained if in contact with the tanning agents. Staining is also common with the use of bronzers and clothes will get easily blotched; it is best not to wear anything white or light-colored and once you get home, wash the items immediately to prevent advanced blotching.
With advanced technologies, artificial tanning takes no more than just a minute. Once you are out of the booth, wipe the soles of the feet, the palms and the nails with wet wipes so that you remove the excess of solution and you don’t color these body parts. You need to go through these steps really quickly because the tanning solution dries fast and you’ll remain with bronzer or tan excess.
Although some of the tanning agents act immediately, many tan tips advise tanners not to shower for at least six hours. This will let the DHA substances to get into contact with the amino acids and start the browning coloring of the skin. If you bathe or shower sooner, the tanning will not be complete. Avoid tanning if you suffer from allergies or contact dermatitis, and should you follow any dermatological treatment, ask for the doctor’s advice before tanning.
Spray tanning tips will contribute to maintaining tan longer. For instance, you should take only short showers and with warm water only. And even the pH of the soap is important for the resistance of the skin color: a soft neutral soft is best for the tan. The tan wears off when the dry skin cells on which it was applied have been naturally eliminated by the body; then you can apply a new tan if you want.
